Fihi (pronounced as fee-hee) described as “in it is” or “It is”. The idea for Fihi Nutrition was born on 31st July 2022 when our founder, Suraj Meharwade, went to a grocery store to purchase a chocolate for impressing his beautiful wife. As a food industry expert, he reviewed several products and could not find a chocolate that had functional ingredients that can provide subtle benefits to the body and quench a craving for a treat.
When our founder pondered about this, he was reminded about the healthy snacks his mom would make. These treats contained delicious nuts, seeds, and berries that were satisfying to eat while also being an excellent source of energy.
Later that night, he decided to start a nutrition company that would make food products with functional ingredients, such as ashwagandha root, maca root, ginger root, and turmeric root. And so, began our journey to make chocolates a better-for-you functional treat.
